Etiquetas - Pegatinas de Emisión.
Te contamos todo lo que necesitas saber sobre estos distintivos, que hasta ahora eran opcionales pero van a pasar a ser obligatorios en breve.
Existen 4 etiquetas diferentes. Podeis comprobar en éste Link cual le corresponde a vuestro coche mediante la matrícula: https://sede.dgt.gob.es/es/vehiculos/distintivo-ambiental/
Etiqueta 0 emisiones, Azul: Identifica a los vehículos más eficientes. Tendrán derecho a esta etiqueta eléctricos de batería (BEV) , eléctricos de autonomía extendida (REEV), eléctricos híbridos enchufables (PHEV) con una autonomía de 40 km o vehículos de pila de combustible.
Etiqueta Eco: Los siguientes en el escalón de eficiencia, se trata en su mayoría de vehículos híbridos, gas o ambos. Tendrán derecho a esta etiqueta eléctricos enchufables con autonomía inferior a 40 km, híbridos no enchufables (HEV), vehículos propulsados por gas natural y gas (GNC y GNL) o gas licuado del petróleo (GLP). Deben cumplir los criterios de la etiqueta C.
Etiqueta C, Verde: Vehículos de combustión interna que cumplen con las últimas emisiones EURO. Tendrán derecho a esta etiqueta turismos y furgonetas ligeras de gasolina matriculadas a partir de enero de 2006 y diésel a partir de septiembre de 2015. Vehículos de más de 8 plazas, excluido el conductor, y pesados tanto de gasolina como diésel, matriculados desde 2014.
Etiqueta B, Amarilla: Vehículos de combustión interna que si bien no cumplen con las últimas especificaciones de las emisiones EURO, sí que lo hacen con anteriores. Tendrán derecho a esta etiqueta turismos y furgonetas ligeras de gasolina matriculadas desde el 1 de enero de 2001 y diésel a partir de 2006. Vehículos de más de 8 plazas y pesados tanto de gasolina como diésel, matriculados desde 2006.
Una vez comprobado que tiene derecho a un distintivo ambiental, la adquisición y compra de los distintivos ambientales puede realizarse (tiene un coste de 5€) a través de:
- Oficinas de Correos
- Red de talleres de la Confederación Española de talleres (CETRAA) y otras redes de talleres autorizados
- Gestores Administrativos
- Instituto de Estudios de Automoción (IDEAUTO)
- Para el caso de flotas, puedes obtener los distintivos a través de la asociación Ganvam
El distintivo es válido para circular en España. Si vas a circular con su vehículo en Alemania, Austria, Dinamarca, Francia u otro país con sistema de catalogación ambiental, debes informarte antes de ir sobre si es necesario obtener un distintivo en el país al que viajas, cómo hacerlo y de los criterios para poder circular.

You've probably been seeing round stickers stuck to the bottom of car windows for a long time. These are the environmental labels that the General Directorate of Traffic has created to classify vehicles according to their environmental impact.
We tell you everything you need to know about these badges, which until now were optional but will soon become mandatory.

0 emissions label, Blue: Identifies the most efficient vehicles. Battery electric vehicles (BEV), extended range electric vehicles (REEV), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) with a range of 40 km or fuel cell vehicles will be entitled to this label.
Eco Label: The next in the efficiency step are mostly hybrid vehicles, gas or both. Plug-in electric vehicles with a range of less than 40 km, non-plug-in hybrids (HEV), vehicles powered by natural gas and gas (CNG and LNG) or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will be entitled to this label. They must meet the criteria of label C.
Label C, Green: Internal combustion vehicles that comply with the latest EURO emissions. Passenger cars and light gasoline vans registered from January 2006 and diesel from September 2015 will be entitled to this label. Vehicles with more than 8 seats, excluding the driver, and heavy vehicles with both gasoline and diesel, registered since 2014.
Label B, Yellow: Internal combustion vehicles that, although they do not comply with the latest EURO emissions specifications, do comply with previous ones. Passenger cars and light gasoline vans registered since January 1, 2001 and diesel since 2006 will be entitled to this label. Vehicles with more than 8 seats and heavy vehicles, both gasoline and diesel, registered since 2006.
Once it has been verified that you have the right to an environmental badge, the acquisition and purchase of environmental badges can be done (costs €5) through:
- Post Offices
- Network of workshops of the Spanish Confederation of workshops (CETRAA) and other networks of authorized workshops
- Administrative Managers
- Institute of Automotive Studies (IDEAUTO)
- In the case of fleets, you can obtain the badges through the Ganvam association
The badge is valid for circulation in Spain. If you are going to drive your vehicle in Germany, Austria, Denmark, France or another country with an environmental classification system, you should find out before you go whether it is necessary to obtain a badge in the country you are traveling to, how to do it and the criteria for circulating power.
